Public Safety Diver.
PSDA offers four levels
of training for PUBLIC SAFETY DIVER. Each course is based on continuing education model and every level has annual
requirements to maintain certification. Divers learn search techniques and theory, equipment selection and use, self rescue
and underwater crime scene awareness. We also stress diving skill to include diving knowledge.
Swift Water Rescue
PSDA offers several swift water programs that meet NFPA standards. All courses
are based on a continuing education model and all skill levels must meet annual requiremenst for certification.
Tactical Program
The tactical programs are for waterbourne law enforcement and security
personnel who are engaged in the following: port or marina homeland security functions, tactical boat operations, defensive
tactics, weapon retention, apprehension, hull & sea wall searches and explosive recognition.
